Introduction

Welcome to Shield (the "Bot"). By using our Bot on the Discord platform or on our website (hereafter the "Website"), you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions (the "Terms"). Please read these Terms carefully before using our Bot and Website.

Use of the Bot and Website

By accessing and using our Bot and Website, you agree to the following:

• You will use the Bot and Website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
• You will not use the Bot and Website in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair the Bot or Website or interfere with any other party’s use and enjoyment of the Bot and Website.
• You will not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Bot or Website, other accounts, computer systems, or networks connected to the Bot or Website, through hacking, password mining, or any other means.

User Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Copying, distributing, or disclosing any part of the Bot or Website in any medium.
• Using any automated system, including robots, spiders, or offline readers, to access the Bot or Website.
• Transmitting spam, chain letters, or other unsolicited email.
• Attempting to interfere with, compromise the system integrity or security, or decipher any transmissions to or from the servers running the Bot or Website.

Intellectual Property

The Bot and Website and their entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof) are owned by Shield, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Bot and Website immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Bot and Website will immediately cease.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Shield, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your use or inability to use the Bot and Website; (ii) any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein; (iii) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Bot and Website; and (iv) any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through our Bot and Website by any third party.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the country/state in which Shield operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms of Use on this page and by sending an announcement on Discord. Changes are effective when they are posted.
