Introduction

Welcome to Shield (the "Bot"). We respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. This DMCA Policy outlines our procedures for addressing claims of copyright infringement on our Bot and Website (hereafter the "Website").

Notification of Infringement

If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide our Designated Copyright Agent with the following information:

Designated Copyright Agent

You may contact our Designated Copyright Agent for notice of claims of copyright infringement by creating a ticket on our support server.

Counter-Notification

If you believe that your material has been removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notification to our Designated Copyright Agent. To be effective, a counter-notification must include:

• Your physical or electronic signature.
• Identification of the material that has been removed or disabled and the location where the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material.
• Your name, address, telephone number, and email address, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your judicial district, or if your address is outside of the United States, the jurisdiction of the federal court where Shield is located, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification of the alleged infringement.

Repeat Infringers

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, we have adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, users who are deemed to be repeat infringers. We may also, at our sole discretion, limit access to the Website and/or terminate the accounts of any users who infringe any intellectual property rights of others, whether or not there is any repeat infringement.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this DMCA Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new DMCA Policy on this page and by sending an announcement on Discord. Changes are effective when they are posted.
